Up for your consideration is a really nice all original well kept garage kept 1971 ranger xlt short bed with 86,xxx original miles. The truck was purchased new in Georgia, and stayed in Georgia its whole life from what I can tell. The truck is all original down to its factory installed 302 backed behind its original automatic transmission. It has factory installed power brakes and dealer installed cold Ac. It was purchased from an estate sale this year after being well cared for by the previous owners for many many years! Upon the purchase of the truck we then decided to have the transmission rebuilt, king pins installed, complete brake system overhauled,master cylinder, some brake lines,complete tune up, new white wall tires, complete dual exhaust system, rebuilt carburetor, new battery, new NOS (new old stock) front and rear bumpers, recharged ac system , new ac line, more more and more!! The truck was then sent off to be buffed, waxed and detailed to its current state that its in now. The paint shows extremely well for what it is. The truck has been brushed touched in a few places, but its not a perfect match. From even 5 feet away this truck looks amazing. You can only see the imperfections when you start to get close to the vehicle. The body is top notch original with no known rust holes in the exterior body to speak of. The bed is in perfect un-restored condition with no rust holes. Cab corners, cab mounts, battery tray, floor pans, etc... are all in mint condition. The bumpers are brand new as stated above. The grill and the rest of the chrome are all in tact and show very very well. The interior is like new condition except for seat. The original bench is still in really good condition , just starting to show some age on the drivers side. The dash pad is perfect and carpet is in excellent shape as well. All the glass is perfectly clear with no fogging anywhere to speak of. All the gauges , interior lighting, switches, headlights, brake lights, wipers, cargo light, running lights, flashers, windshield washer, under hood light, all work flawlessly. This truck runs out great needing no major mechanical attention. Ac also blows cold for those hot summer days. The truck is dry underneath with no major leaking issues. The biggest item needed will be a drivers side exhaust manifold gasket replaced. This truck has 86,000 original miles and I have also been told it was in a garage its whole life. The doors shut like a new one. All the above new notated parts are fresh and have only had about 150 miles since the freshen up. I have had many of these 67-72 F100's and this is the first I have owned in this condition. This is an amazing find for one of these trucks in its original condition.
