A cool 1951 Chevrolet Coupe Deluxe. I purchased this car in Virginia approximately 2 years ago. It had the black primer and the orginal wheels (painted red) which I still have. It carried the orginal 6 cylinder, and also had the orginal door panels and headliner. The headliner was removed and I threw away the door panels as they were beyond repair. I still have the small trims of chrome that came off the door panels and they are very good. The body is pretty good, there is a few rust issues, but not to bad and the floor boards look good with exception of a few minor areas at the corner of the rear door panels. The frame is good, and the trunk is solid except the bottom of the spare tire. Its all there except the front bumper. The windows roll up and down good, headlights, taillights, and blinkers work. Speedometer works with a little shake. The suspension is good and tight, and drives down good down the road. You can see I decided to rat rod the car. I put corvette rallys on it, with a good set of tires. I put a used 350 engine with a small cam in it. I attached it to a four speed transmission (saginaw), a 10 bolt 1968 Camaro rear end. I put a brand new dual exhaust system that turns down at the rear end with a set of old school cutouts. It looks cool, sounds great, drives good, stops good,hooked up right. The carb I would replace if I kept the car. I've driven it approximately 300 to 400 miles since making the changes, and by the way it does not overheat, it really turns heads. There is a $500.00 deposit due within 24 hours of purchase, and the remaining balance due at the time of pickup within 7 days of purchase.
