ALTHOUGH THIS CAR HAS A FAIRLY NEW VA STATE INSPECTION (COMPLETED 3/14 - EXPIRES 3/15) WE HAVE NOT CHECKED THIS CAR OUT IN OUR SHOP, SO OUR DESCRIPTION IS BASED SOLEY ON A VISUAL INSPECTION AND DRIVING IMPRESSIONS.
THIS BMW IS BEING SOLD "AS IS".

WHILE THIS BMW DOES RUN WELL AND DRIVES GOOD, IT IS COSMETICALLY ROUGH. THE PAINT HAS SOME GLOSSY PANELS, BUT SOME PANELS HAVE CLEAR STRESS, PAINT CHIPS, SMALL DENTS, AND/OR BUBBLING RUST UNDER THE PAINT. THE ONLY REALLY BAD SPOT IS THE TOP OF THE TRUNK LID WHERE YOU CAN SEE THE CAR WAS HAND SANDED (WE ASSUME TO BEGIN PAINT PREP). YOU CAN SEE PICS OF MOST OF THE PAINT/BODY ISSUES BELOW. INSIDE THE CAR THE LEATHER SEATS HAVE SEVERAL RIPS, TEARS, WORN SPOTS, AND DYE WEAR. THE INTERIOR OTHERWISE IS PRETTY NICE. IF YOU REPLACE THE SEATS, THE INTERIOR WILL LOOK SO MUCH BETTER!
THE SOFT TOP HAS SEEN BETTER DAYS. THERE ARE NO BIG RIPS OR BIG HOLES, BUT IT IS OBVIOUSLY WORN AND THERE ARE VERY TINY HOLES WHERE THE STITCHING HOLDS THE FABRIC TOP TOGETHER. ON THE PLUS SIDE, THESE TINY HOLES DON'T APPEAR TO LEAK (THERE IS NO MILDEW SMELL INSIDE). ANOTHER TOP ISSUE IS THE SOFT IS COMING APART ON THE LEFT-SIDE BESIDE THE REAR WINDOW. ALSO, THE PLASTIC BACK WINDOW HAS A TAPED-UP CUT IN IT AND IT IS VERY CLOUDY.
THE TRUNK MUST HAVE HAD A LEAKING ISSUE BECAUSE THE RUBBER SEAL IS BEING HELPED OUT WITH A MAKE-SHIFT TRASHBAG SEAL (SEE PICS). THERE IS NO STANDING WATER OR RUST HOLES IN THE TRUNK THOUGH.
THE A/C DOESN'T BLOW COLD. THE BLOWER ITSELF WORKS GREAT, BUT THE COMPRESSOR IS NOT KICKING ON. WE DON'T KNOW IF A FREON CHARGE WOULD FIX THE ISSUE OR NOT.
ALL THE POWER FEATURES WORK AS THEY SHOULD, INCLUDING THE POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS, POWER MIRRORS, STEREO, POWER ANTENNA, A/C CONTROLS, LIGHTS, AND GAUGES.
THE ALLOY WHEELS ARE STRUCTURALLY SOUND, BUT NEED PAINT. THE MATCHING SET OF TIRES HAVE ABOUT 40% TO 50% OF THEIR TREAD REMAINING.
THIS CAR HAS A CURRENT STATE INSPECTION (EXPIRES 3/15)! OUT-OF-STATE BUYERS WILL RECEIVE THE CAR WITH THE CURRENT INSPECTION STICKER, BUT VA RESIDENTS WILL GET A NEW STICKER BASED ON A NEW INSPECTION. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THE CAR WILL PASS INSPECTION AGAIN ALTHOUGH IT SHOULD CONSIDERING IT WAS JUST DONE 3 MONTHS AGO.
