Vehicle Detail

Auction for classic GMC 1971 Custom. I have owned since 2001, when bought from a dealer. Truck had off frame restoration done professionally in 1995. Spoke with guy who did it, he said they did a total restoration on truck, down to bare metal. Work I have had done:Dual exhaust, top end job 3000 miles ago. Has electronic ignition done by previous owner, which is the only thing not stock about truck. Otherwise, totally stock. New tires 500 miles ago, and new front shocks at that time. Radiator replaced about 6 yrs ago, and master cylinder as well. Truck drive train is strong, engine does not use oil. Some slop in power steering, but not too bad, easily drivable. High beams only work, needs electrical work done on this, brake lights work well. Turn signal lever broke off by my son, have original piece, but difficult to find replacement as truck was one of first to have cruise control, which worked prior to lever being pulled off by my son. Rust to body as indicated by pictures. Areas which are affected: rocker panels, rear wheel well exterior area, bed. Interior in good shape. Radio works, but needs fuse holder. All in all, would take some body work and minor electrical work to make a working classic. I believe original engine. I drive it still, is very reliable. There is no bondo on the body as far as I know, besides a small bondo area to tail gate. My local mechanic who works on classic autos locally states truck is entirely stock. Will answer any questions to the best of my ability. Truck is advertised locally as well on CL, so keep that in mind. Hate to sell, but financially necessary. I have added more pictures, and I forgot to mention that the guy I bought the truck from through the dealer was a Harley guy, and he had special hooks for tie down which pop up on all top corners of the bed, and a large eye at the front of the bed, on the bottom of the bed. These options are very nice for tying down any load you are hauling, and I have used alot. Additionally, I have a spare, which was in the carrying area below the bed, but when I changed tires, I had the guy put the best one on the spare. The old one was a bias ply poor tire and was cracked. But the tire was too big to fit in the carrying area, and could be modified easily to do so, I just never got around to it. The tie down hooks are pictured. Additionally, I was driving it two days ago and noted that the backup light lens was missing on the right. The truck has electrical for a trailer, but havent used this for years, so not sure if good. Chrome ball as well.
