For Sale is a 1993 Dodge RamCharger 4x4 with 156,000 miles that has undergone a major conversion from the original 360FI gas 1/2 ton drivetrain to full 3/4 ton diesel with the following. Truck body is all original, no rust, and very good paint. This was done by one of the more respected builders in Arizona and spent the majority of its life in warm climate. I bought it 3 years ago and always parked it in the winter to keep the body as clean as I could. The conversion was professionally done with countless hours of research to make this truck look and function like it was bone stock. This is the SUV that Dodge should have built. 99% of the wiring is done through the OEM 50 pin connector. The Ramcharger OEM harness was incorporated with a 93 diesel harness and PCM. The only things that don’t go through that harness are the info center (water in fuel light, wait to start light, and tach signal). All the lights work as they are supposed to and shut off when they are supposed to. The ABS was tapped in properly as well so they are no idiot lights or check engine lights on. Factory cruise control and A/C both work just like they are supposed to (Very rare for a Cummins conversion). Again, looking at it, you would think Dodge built this truck. It even has the diesel emblems and diesel decal inside the fuel door. I wouldn’t hesitate to get in it tomorrow and drive it anywhere, period. Engine - 1997 Cummins 12V with Bosch P-pump, 3K GSK (3000rpm Governer Spring Kit from Peak Diesel, 100 Fuel plate, Dynomite Diesel Stage 2 injectors, HTT/ Schwitzer 62/65/12 Turbo, Source Automotive full 4 inch exhaust with Magnaflow muffler, Tworline 3 inch stainless intercooler tubes, ASA Modifieds intake. Dynoed at 360HP/860TQ. It is very useable as a daily driver or it can turn heads when you punch it. I have driven it on a 1500 mile trip and I’m amazed how smooth it runs and the fuel mileage it gets even with the 35” tires. Transmision - 1995 Dodge 47RH fully built with Diesel Transmission Technolgy (DTT) components, some upgraded 48RE internals, DTT Blue 89% single disk lockup converter. You can check their website for performance and instructions. NP205 transfer case that shifts in and out of 4x4 just like it should. The OD is PCM controlled (just like stock) with a manual tc lockup switch to lower RPM’s at highway speed. Custom driveshaft built with the heaviest duty components and U joints that could be done. Axles – 3.54 Gear Ratio Dana 60 front with manual lock outs, Dana 70 Rear with limited slip from a 1993 W250 Cummins diesel. Suspension- Full custom build by Alcan with a 3inch lift kit at all 4 corners. This truck rides probably smoother than my 2011 Ram does. It has Rancho RS9000XL shocks. Front Swaybar (diesel), Rancho RS5000 Steering stabilizer, Borgeson Steering Shaft and rear kicker shocks. People compliment all the time how smooth this truck rides once they are in it. Wheels/Tires - 16x8 Moto Metal 955 wheels with brand new 315/75-16 Goodyear MTR’s with Kevlar. Spare is matching wheel with a brand new Toyo MT 315/75/16 tire. There is almost $3000 in tires/wheels alone! All tires/wheels including the spare were professionally mounted and balanced. Interior/Body - Full Dodge/Cummins diesel Information Center from 93 donor truck. Dealer diesel option 4K tachomoter, Autometer Z-series Pyrometer, Boost, Trans Temp gauges in custom fitted gauge cluster on driver pillar. 98 Dodge Shifter w/OD button, lockup and valet switches on lower dash. Rear Window defroster, Air Conditioning. Power Mirrors, Power Windows, and Power locks. Aftermarket cd player works well and comes with the remote. The carpet is in good condition with only minor spots here and there. I didn’t shampoo it but if someone did, they could make it look new I’m sure. The seats are in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The dash isn’t cracked (rare for these) and the windows have a light tint on them. There is no rust on the body anywhere and only minor paint chips here and there that have been touched up. The fender flares are a little scuffed in places and the grille has one crack but for the most part, the body is very nice. One of the mirror housings is cracked but the mirror is good and still works fine. The front bumper is a custom bumper made by Bumperdude with a 2” receiver built in. The sides of the grille guard flare up slightly and wrap around to keep the lights and grille protected. It has a stock 2” receiver and a custom spare tire carrier with swing open carriage (was $900 new) so you can access the back. The tire carrier has a hitch built in too for towing needs. I never towed anything with the truck but I’m sure it would tow just about whatever you wanted. Sorry for the long post but I wanted to make sure I covered everything.
