Up for auction is my 1988 Jeep Wrangler. I purchased this Jeep from a guy in Minnesota who bought the Jeep from a car dealer, who just had it shipped from California in May of 2013. The person I bought it from didn't have it very long, because the motor needed to be rebuilt. It ran when I bought it, but the compression was low, and one cylinder had no compression. Also, the previous owner told me the Jeeps running mileage is actually lower, because it was towed behind a motorhome. I kinda believed him, because when I looked underneath the Jeep before I bought it., it had diesel soot on it from being towed behind a diesel pusher . After purchasing the Jeep, I removed the engine had it rebuilt so I could move it around without towing it. That's about as far as I got with it. My plan was to completely go thru everything on the jeep replace what needed to be replaced, rebuild what needed to be rebuilt. Well, things have changed now, and I need to sell it. The Jeep has the original factory paint. The frame still has the original painted black paint. Personally, by looking at this jeep underneath, I would say it's never been off road NO RUSTED out metal anywhere on the jeep or the frame. I never drove this in the winter, so it's never seen salt The Jeep comes with two tops, hardtop and soft top. Hard top looks like a CJ top Has a new Weber carb, radiator, spark control module, water pump, plugs, wires, cap, rotor. Runs and drives good, but needs new tires. I also registered it with a Minnesota collector plate, because I planned on keeping it and only driving it a few times in the summer months
