2004 Porsche Cayenne S with 4.5L V8 and 6 speed Tiptronic transmission. very low mileage of 61,500 miles. ad revision: 06/08/14 Contact me for service history / Carfax. Nicely optioned Cayenne S with the following options: - Active Air Suspension with PASM, driver selectable suspension; - Comfort Memory Seats with electrically adjustable + folding rear view mirrors; - Electric Moonroof with sliding interior cover; - Park Assist, front + rear; - Bi Xexon headlights with washers; - 19" Cayenne Design alloy wheels + colored crest hubcap; - Automatic Climate Control driver + passenger; - Bose surround sound stereo system; - Auto dimming rear view mirror with garage door opener; - Rollup sunscreens, rear door windows; - Steel engine protection cover; - Rubber floor mats. I purchased this excellent Porsche from a dealer in Texas, December 2010, with a mileage of 45,070. I chose Texas to avoid salt exposure (I've continued to avoid winter road salting). Prior to purchase ,I then had it professionally inspected, and after shipment,fully inspected again and maintenances caught up on by Porsche. I've driven the vehicle approximate 16,000 miles over the past 3.5 years, thus the current mileage of ~61,500. As I live out in the country, the car has seen almost entirely highway use only during my ownership; no misuse, no racing, no heavy traffic idling. The best highway mileage I've been able to obtain is 22mpg going 63 mph. Please know what you're getting into with a Cayenne S. My opinion, not everyone is cut out to handle this SUV; it's like a professional grade driving tool -- serious, high powered, and high performance with the quirks that all these Cayennes have. That said, no other brand offers continuous driving pleasure like Porsche; for me, most vehicles become wearisome after awhile. Not this one. Each drive, you feel the soul carefully engineering into this this thing. This SUV is the best all-around vehicle I've ever owned. I found that having the Durametric software was essential for keeping maintenance costs low. Condition Statement Condition is overall excellent with only very minor signs of use. No major accidents. No computer error codes. Engine runs perfectly. Vehicle drives perfectly. Interior is extremely clean. Air conditioning works. The flaws I'm aware of are: (1) The previous owner had a minor parking lot fender bender. This flaw was pointed out to me during my pre-purchase inspection, and I had it professionally examined by my Porsche dealership upon the vehicle's arrival. No significant damage. Appears to have only been repaired with a front bumper respray. I could not even see it myself until Porsche showed me, that the driver side fender is ever so slightly out of 100% correct position. Ignore it -- you can't see it unless you really look for it. (2) Rear plastic bumper below tailgate has a small patch of paint missing from when I misloaded an object. (3) The odometer reset button has to be pushed a certain way in order for it to work right. Work I've had done: - new driveshaft - new front brakes + rotors + multiple brake fluid flushings - new brake master cylinder - stainless steel brake lines - full servicing including all fluids when purchased and regular maintenance since - all Porsche campaigns caught up on - alignment checked when purchased (good) - 2nd key purchased (but not yet programmed) - other odds and ends (I've all records of work I had done). - call me if you want to go over my service history in detail (receipt by receipt). Who am I and what is my reputation? I'm a private seller selling my own cars that I've owned for normal driving only. I'm neither a dealer nor a backyard mechanic reseller. While not a mechanic by trade, I've been working on cars my whole life, in later years restoring along with professionals several early Porsches and a few other classics. I'm a knowledgeable auto enthusiast but not a professional mechanic or bodyman..
