1991 camaro z28 1LE 5.7 auto 82k original miles. The 1LE is a factory track car built for scca showroom stock racing, it has a/c delete,power window and door lock delete, t-top delete (hardtop only) and has no cruise control or inside hatch release , this car was built light as possible (only weighs 3250 lbs.) for racing . Unlike most this car has never been raced or beat on. The 1LE comes with 12 in aluminum two piston caliper front brakes (regular z28 has one piston 10.5 in front brakes) the rears are 11 in aluminum caliper .Car has harder suspension bushings,larger sway bars and revised alignment specs (best driving and handling third gen camaro I have ever driven period) car is also equiped from the factory with a aluminum driveshaft, hardened rear axles, special baffled fuel tank to prevent fuel starvation in hard cornering, also is equipped with a oil and power steering cooler, all this equipment is present on this car and also says "1LE" and g80 and g92 on the rpo sticker in the console that proves this is a real 1LE. The drivetrain has been modified for performance, however can be returned to stock easily as I have all the stock parts I removed, and did not hack up a thing. The short block is the original l-98 short block all standard,with new gm bearings and rings and gaskets,heads are vortec bowties (copies) with 200cc intake runners 2.02 and 1.60 swirl polished stainless valves and screw in studs,the cam is a comp xr276 hr (hyd roller) and also has the matching comp,springs locks retainers, push rods ,lifters, and timing chain and gears (cam specs 502/510 lift 218/232 duration @0.50) very healthy sounds awesome.The intake manifold is a tpis short ram that has been modified to fit the .100 raised runners the cylinder heads have, also new bosch 30# injectors ,bbk 58 mm throttle body.The ignition consists of a msd coil,ignition wires, and module. Car has been tuned by tuned performance and needs a few more tweaks to be perfect, but runs well now.The exhuast consists of 1 3/4 full length headers 2/12 y-pipe and a jegs 3 in cat back (really needs 4 in) the trans is the number matching unit with new seals,b&m transpack, and speedway motors 2400-2800 10 in converter.The differential has all new bearings,new 3.73 ring and pinion,and a new auburn hd posi unit (also have the original 3.23 and stock auburn posi). Wheels have been striped refinished and powder coated clear professionally and look great and are the original wheels,tires are 245/50/16 toyo proxses 4 with less than 2k miles on them,the rears are 255/50/16 m/t drag radials (about 3/4 tread) the stock toyos where useless with a car like this with about 430 hp (car feels like low 12s in the quarter) ,but have never raced it (just pissed off a few new mustang owners lol). The interior is in great shape with no rips, stains,or smells, also no fading, however the headliner has just started to droop in one spot,and should be replaced. The body has no rust and the car has never been wrecked, has a few minor dings (I mean minor) ,the paint is original and is about a 15 footer, but still presents well.The undercarriage is very clean , not driven in the rain much and not at all since I have had it.On the car fax it shows 100k in 2001, that was entered by the state emissions testing, this car has never had 100k on it you can tell just by looking at it,have tried to get the state to reverse this, but they said they cannot because there emission testing is done by a outside vendor, went to them and they never seem to be interested in helping me. one look will tell ya this is no 100k car, just want to be honest.On Jul-02-14 at 08:22:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I am open to offers or trades on this car, Rich 253-221-7500.
