It appears to be lacquer paint and is showing its age as it is cracking and is very weak. The chrome is presentable. Head lights, horn, and wipers all work. Again, this is not a show car, just a good looking old car that is absolutely rust-free. I have driven the car on 40 mile round trips with no issues.
