1957 BMW Isetta 300 Thanks for looking at my beloved Isetta, I prefer to sell the car to the end user that would appreciate it for what it is. this car undergone a frame off restoration over a 3 year period after sitting for more that 30 years, I strongly encourage and welcome a visit to inspect and appreciate the car, it was not built for resale but rather for indoor display. As small as these cars are they are very expensive to bring to this condition, you can restore one if you enjoy the exercise but this one is ready to go for below the cost of restoration. The car runs and drives great with new tires, inner tubes, rebuilt brake components, new chrome components, rubber seals, windshield, and a very nice interior. side glass and back window are original (1957) and show some wear and scratches . hub caps are new and a spare tire is included, engine and transmission were completely disassembled with new bearings and other parts replaced by ken batterson an isetta owner and restorer for decades. All lights work but horn does not, could be something simple, speedometer bezel needs re-plating and as of now not sure if the speedometer works. paint is very high quality and the body is super straight, underbody is also painted and very clean. clean Florida title in hand. Car is located in mid Florida and I will assist in loading and storing the car for 2- 3 weeks after close of auction and will deliver free of charge up to 150 miles from zip 33781.
