One owner driven into NYC 140 miles daily for 10 years.Cosmetic condition is rough.Suspension is good.Everything was replaced at least once including rear trailing arm bushings. Front end is tight, again everything was replaced including front axle bearings.Tires are good. Steel rims with new plastic hubcaps.Full size spare. Motor ,Transmission & clutch are original to the car. Engine starts & runs fine. Clutch is still good. Transmission works O.K.. Battery is good. Engine control systems are mostly non-existent,bypassed ,removed or hot wired. Timing belt changed twice, new quality water pump installed. The turbo is functional & works OK, but the vacuum control system is not. A blow by oil catch system was added to the PCV system,This is the reason the turbo is still functional.If you know anything about these motors you will understand this. The engine is starting to use oil. It was ran with synthetic from the beginning. This is not a Car for novice VW TDI owner.This is a car for the experienced VW TDI owner. This Jetta was driven hard and consistently gave around 50 miles to the gallon.I filled it up once a week and drove it over 800 miles on a single tank many times. Never ran it dry, it ran at least 70 miles after add fuel lite came on.I did most of the work myself including fender replacement.I got it through NJ inspection last year,however I needed the sticker for someone else. It was removed & re-purposed. As you can see it needs a windshield badly. I have some extra vacuum controls & relays.
