Vin GHN5UJ447251G The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this excellent driver quality , rubber bumper 1978 MGB, in correct TAHITI BLUE paint. This 2-OWNER CAR is a very original, with original floors, interior, no rust, and all original panels. She is in great condition both cosmetically and mechanically. The vehicle is a strong daily driver. The BLUE paint shows well, with good luster and shine. There are some minor nicks and dings around the car, commensurate to the age of the car. The original TAN interior is in good condition with some fading, but no rips and few blemishes. The carpets are original and show well. The door tops are worn. The vinyl replacement top is in excellent condition, the window is clear and the car comes with a matching tonneau cover. She was just the recipient of more then $2500 IN DOCUMENTED SERVICE WORK. The work was performed in DECEMBER 2013 by marque specialist BRITISH AUTO REPAIR, of Southport, CT. The work included new brakes and brake lines, fuel gauge sender, new cap, rotor, wires and plugs, new engine mounts, new shift linkage, and a full fluid service. In addition, NEW TIRES WERE INSTALLED. This car is ready to go, and needs nothing. The 1800cc 5 bearing motor was just tuned, runs strong, makes good power and is in an excellent state of tune. The 4-speed transmission is excellent, as is the clutch. The car has an auxiliary electric fan, oil cooler and fuel pump. She starts well, and runs cool and smoothly. The trim is nice. The brakes are fresh, and the car stops with authority. All mechanical systems work, as they should. She car is a joy to drive, and gives the driver the classic British roadster experience.
