For Sale: TOYFJ40 - 1977 Toyota FJ40 350 Chevy V8 conversion Building this 4 wheeler was somewhat of a mid-life crisis project for me, as I built it in the image of the 1975 FJ40 I owned during my college years. The personalized license plate reads TOYFJ40. My intentions were to never sell it. Unfortunately, the number of grandkids I now have exceeds the seating capacity of the 40 and it has forced the issue. I have organized receipts for nearly everything I have spent on this vehicle and some documentation from the previous owner. The guy I bought it from said it would never win any shows.
