THIS ITEM IS BEING RELISTED DUE TO A NON-PAYING BIDDER WHO WON THE BID AND THEN TOLD ME HE BOUGHT ANOTHER CAR OUTSIDE OF EBAY BUT HE NEVER RETRACTED HIS BID!Here is a 1969 Fastback Mach 1 390 4 speed S code car. The guy I bought it from raced it. He was on Dyno Don's pit crew. He raced the 390, then took it out and raced a 427. He blew it up and then put a 428 Cobra Jet which he also blew 1 cylinder then ran out of money so the car sat for a long time in his body shop. So here is a so called "barn find". After 46 years it's for sale. The 390 is put back in with a T-10 4 speed transmission. Engine he claims is the original but has C8AE Cobra Jet 16 bolt heads, has a nodular 9 inch 31 spline posi rear, frame rails in rear are nice, no rust where shackles are, torque boxes like new, front and rear. Frame rails in the front are in great condition. They were painted white which is peeling and underneath that is shiny black paint. The fenders are good except where surface rust is seen. The doors are in great shape, the bottoms are good and so are the corners. The quarters are repairable but will need some work. The driver's floor is excellent. The passenger floor is rusted only near rocker. The toe boards are nice, even at the floor seams. It has tach harness but the speedo was changed because the speedo stopped working. The owner said the tach wasn't important back then because he used racing a tach. Overall, this is a hard to find, RARE, S code 390 in this condition. It has a clear New Hampshire Title.
