I have owned this bike about 6 years, as part of my collection of vintage Honda motorcycles. (I have 4). It was my first vintage purchase after I bought my son a CL360 when he was in Utah. Found this one here in IL in original (good) cosmetic condition, no rust in the gas tank and running/idling well. Start switch was moved from side to between handlebars by prior owner, works great. Have keys for bike, seat, tank, and helmet lock. This year I replaced the battery (after 6 years) - battery tender is hard wired, if you win auction, just buy one and plug it in. Seat appears to be original, showing some wear, but no tears or ripped seams. Tachometer red line area is faded from bright red to white/red, was that way when I got it. Lights, tach, etc. all work, have required keys. As shown in photo, "tank" on engine on/off switch on right handlebar broken off, switch still intact and works perfectly, just about 3/8" of tang missing. I have a clear WI title in hand, and the mileage reads "exempt" because the bike was over 10 years old when I took title. However, the mileage is accurate, and I will sign an affidavit to that effect if desired, I can't do anything about WI and their policy at the DMV. Mileage is slightly over 30,000, and original. Bike shows no signs of previous damage, and tank is original paint with no or minimal interior rust. Side covers have nicks as shown in the pictures, tank has an almost imperceptible dent (I probably will have to point it out to the buyer, and maybe a tiny chip. Included in sale are a set of spare clutch plates, a spare clutch gasket (hard to find) an entire gasket set, and an OEM set of new Honda grips. Bought all of it "just in case" - should probably e-bay separately but to lay and busy. Reason for sale - am 62 and find myself riding the CB900 customs that I own, and this bike needs someone to ride it and enjoy it, rather than sit in storage and ridden occasionally.
