Vehicle Detail
Summary This Camaro has been in the "family" for over 10 years. It was purchased with 29,000 miles and now shows 105,000 on the odometer. Unfortunately, I am moving soon and am unable to take the car with me. The car is in great shape for a 1998. The rear bumper shows some clear coat peeling and the top of the car has some sun damage. Otherwise, the body is extremely clean and dent free. The interior is undamaged and complete. The speaker system works well, but is missing two of the six speakers in the rear. The wiring is there for new speakers. All electrical systems work properly. Power windows, locks, mirrors, and driver seat. The T-tops are in fantastic shape and do not leak. The engine was professionally rebuilt at 70,000 miles. The LS1 block was used and a forged crankshaft and connecting rods were installed. A new cam was installed with 214/230 degrees of duration @ .050, .601/.578 inches of lift, and a 117 LSA. The wheels and tires were replaced last year and have approximately 5,000 miles on them. The wheels are black powdercoated 17-inch Z06 variants. The tires are 275/40/R17 Hankook Ventus V4s. New springs were installed and dropped the car about 1.5 inches. Since I have known the car, 2003, there has been no negative effects from whatever damage was done. This includes rust. There is no rust damage. The vehicle will not currently pass New Jersey State visual inspection. The exhaust is complete, but consists of full-length Pacesetter headers connected to an "off road" y-pipe. Catalytic converters would need to be installed. The Check Engine light is currently off. However, an exhaust leak has caused the oxygen sensors to read incorrect fuel trims. As stated earlier, all oxygen sensors have been replaced. The air conditioning does not work. All components of the system are present, but the air conditioning belt is not on and the system has not been charged in a few years. Contact Information Any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to email me at Hill1513@yahoo.com. The vehicle is also for sale locally. The vehicle can be picked up or driven to a local buyer, if necessary. Will not ship. Good luck!
