3 DAY AUCTION!!!!! Up for bids is a 1984 Chevrolet Dually truck. This is a 2 wheel drive truck with the powerful 454 big block engine with a 4 speed trans. This truck has 86000 actual miles on it.This truck has been off the road since 2008 guys, the last owner was using it to pull his race car until he relocated to another state and no longer needed it so he parked it. The paint on this truck is very weathered but the body is amazingly solid. The only rust holes in the truck are about 3 of them in the drivers side rocker panel about the size of a dime, there is a picture of them. The cab corners are good which is very rare on this model of truck. All of the rest of the truck is absolutely solid with only some places with surface rust. The bed floor is solid with a fifth wheel ball installed in it. The plate has the ball welded to it so if you want to remove it all that will be left is about 4 bolt holes in the floor. The plate bolts through the floor and frame so its good and strong. Theres also a rear hitch on the truck to pull a regular trailer. The right front fender has been replaced for some reason and it has some surface rust on it but will sand right off. The other fender, doors, bed sides both inside and out are all pretty much rust free other than some small surface rust places, no holes. The doors have some minor cracks where the mirrors bolt to them, all of it is a easy fix. The big mirrors are famous for causing the cracks. The outer fenders on the bed have no cracks in them at all, just need paint as does the complete truck.The paint is coming off the hood and top from age and the North Carolina sun. The truck only needs a good paint job to be really sharp or drive it like it is. The engine is the 454 big block and it sounds real good. Its a little cold natured as they all were but it runs good and starts right up with no smoke or noise of any kind. Although the truck has been off the road awhile it starts easy, brakes work and the trans shifts good, clutch is good also. The interior needs a little attention depending on how nice you want it. The seat is torn on the drivers side, door panels are pretty good but faded, dash pad is cracked. It has manual windows and locks. Although this is an 84 truck guys I had the AC running and cooling until the compressor clutch started making noise and I had to turn it off so the air will work with just a little attention. Guys this truck could be a real nice truck to haul or tow about anything you want to hook to it. It just needs a little attention from being off the road for awhile. It needs gone over, check hoses, brakes, lights and all the small stuff just to be sure you wont have problems down the road. Nothing major as it starts right up and sounds great. I feel it needs to be towed to your location and gone over before putting it on the road but if you want to drive it out of here that's up to you. I haven't had it on the road due to no license and insurance on it. The tires are very good and they have some dry rot also. The glass is all good, front bumper is straight and only showing its age a little as does the rear one. The truck comes with a clean and clear NC title. I also have a fair bed liner and a pretty decent camper top to go with it if you want them included in the price. Don't miss out on this low mileage dually guys. It wouldn't take much to get it into the paint booth and youd have a very nice, sharp truck. The price is more than fair for a truck in this solid condition. Please ask any questions before bidding.
