Up for auction is a 1957 Chevy 1/2 ton pick up. I bought this truck from a friend of mine with the intention of restoring it, but have changed my mind. This truck has been sitting for over 20 years on my friend's property. After towing it home I replaced the wheel cylinders and got the brakes working. I also flushed the gas tank and rebuilt the carburetor and got the truck running. This truck runs and drives, but the clutch is very rough. I have driven it a very short distance since the water temperature gauge does not work. The oil pressure gauge does work and it seems to have good oil pressure. There is some rust in the usual places, on the lower front fenders and the cab rear corners. The drivers side window and windshield are cracked due to it sitting out in the sun for years.
