This car is in amazing original condition. Someone saved this car from day one. Only 58k miles with documented oil change sticks on the door jam. It is a local car that has obviously never been driven in bad weather, and appears to have been stored in a heated garage all it's life. The Paint is very good to excellent and appears to be partly or mostly original, no sign any accidents or body work. The undercarriage is amazingly clean Absolutely no rust, not even surface rust from what I can see. The chrome and trim is excellent too... Although the rear wheel moldings have a few dings. The original top was recently replaced. The original was black, but I decided to go with white, with a new glass rear window, no expense spared, and fits very well. All the weather stripping rubber is in excellent shape too. The boot is original and is missing a few snaps. The interior is all original and is in excellent condition. Mechanically it is also in excellent condition, and runs perfect, starts right up, no noises, or leaks, runs very quiet and has plenty of power, and the transmission shifts excellent too. The thing that doesn't seem right is on a hard stop the brakes pull once in a while. Everything works as it should except the clock... Heat, radio, and all the lights work too, even the trunk and license plate. Whoever buys this car should be very happy, I will really miss her. If you have any questions please ask. People that see this car are amazed at the condition, and think I'm crazy to sell it. I think I am too. I'll probably never have a Galaxie this nice unless I want spend $25000.
