Vehicle Detail
Hello Everyone thanks for Looking at / Bidding on My Item I am the Third Owner of this 38,000 mile 1960 Bel Air. I bought it from a Big time collector whom purchased it from the daughter of the original owner in 1990ish, He then placed it into a climate controlled Bug free Ctitter Free garage,(pickled) until I talked him out of it this March. I have rebuilt the Carb, Cleaned the Fuel tank, Installed a new Fuel Pump, Installed a new Battery, Done some brake work, and had a new Clutch installed (it was grabby) also had the Muffler and some Exhaust parts replaced. As it sits it runs drives starts and stops as it should. It is a little cold blooded in the mornings. Now just yesterday I noticed that after driving a long time in the heat (it was 93 here) I have an oil leak from the motor rear someplace. I have storage issues so It is time to sell. Posting a bunch of high resolution photos, The interior is great except for the vinyl floor covering drivers side is torn up and gone, and the arm rests on the doors are crappy. Headliner is good, dash is good, glass is all great, Gauges all work. This is a factory Radio Delete car which I think is great. Lights all work, Id drive it anywhere. As most 55 year old cars there are a couple issues, those are rust behind the headlights on the fenders, as well as some rust starting behind the front wheels, very assessable etc. Actually I was just going to Drive it, as is sits. Its a great car closing the doors and trunk are like shutting the vault at Ft Knox. They don't make em like this anymore!! Please refer to photos and feedback, pretty easy to get along with. Ask any questions please Sold "as is" "where is" NO WARRANTY Now one "other" thing to note, if you have no money, please do not bid. E-bay has gotten terrible for that in recent years. On Jun-05-14 at 08:00:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Guys I have had a couple questions about body mounts and rust, They are SOLID as a rock. Light undercarriage Surface rust and nothing else, E-bay only allows 24 pictures. I have some when we pulled this out of storage and am happy to take and send any specific shots you may want thru E-mail if nothing else.. Thanks Mike
