0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false This car has undergone extensive restoration including a body shell dip and strip at SPL chemicals (its the only way you can find all of the corrosion in a mini) and has had many new panels fitted during its restoration including a new Heritage boot floor, new sills, new front floor pans, new Heritage scuttle panel, new A panels, new Heritage wings, bonnet, front panel, valences both ends, new door skins both sides and various other small panel replacements. I have numerous photos showing the various stages of restoration. Most of the chrome work has been replaced including a new grille, lights front and rear, bumpers front and rear, and ancillary parts i.e. boot plinth, bonnet lip etc . Mechanically the car has been completely rebuilt including a rebuilt/rebored engine, and rebuilt gearbox. The engine has new +20 pistons and all other general engine parts have been renewed including the alternator, oil pump, shells, reconditioned cylinder head and starter motor. It also has a sports inlet and exhaust manifold with a single box large bore exhaust. The cooling system has been completely renovated with a new radiator, new heater matrix and new pipe work. The steering and suspension parts have been renewed including a new rack, new bushes and ends. The brakes have been rebuilt with new calipers, discs and drums, braided/ copper pipes, and new cylinders, master and slave. A new rear sub frame was also fitted. All the shock absorbers and bushes were renewed. I have copies of receipts for all of the panels and parts which were mainly purchased from Mini machine, Minits, and Mini spares, as well as a full photographic history of the work. The total value of bills amount to over £3000 including the parts cost of the new interior which is over £800. The car was originally red, but is now blue with a white roof. The paint job is not however up to my high standards; so, it was fitted with a Union Jack Wrap to protect the car. To make this car truly immaculate, you will need to re-paint it or just leave the wrap/decal on it. There is little or no filler in this car and photos will prove you do not have to fear anything about what is under this disappointing paint job. The wheels and tires are new 6x12 Superlights with locking wheel nuts. The spare is a standard type wheel and tire. The interior has also been completed refitted. I have a complete black and silver tone front and rear seats to match the cars blue paint job…as well as what currently in the car; Sparco Seats, deleted rear seat, removable roll cage, and sparco wheel. Along with the new dash, leather covered top, and new head lining. I would urge perspective buyers to view the car so you can understand just how much work has been done. You can view the car any time. The clock states 90000 miles but the new engine and box have only completed 4000 miles.
