Clean 1985 Suzuki GS1150E. Last of the big cc air cooled muscle bikes and the beginning of the square tube frame found on many of today's sport bikes. I believe it was the fastest bike made in '85. I bought this bike from the second owner with plans to make it into a nice rider. I let it sit for over a year so it's time to let it go. Was owned for over 25 years by last owner. He rode it regularly until he bought a new bike 3 years ago. It has sat and will need the carbs cleaned. It does have a new battery and will crank/run, but spits and sputters at low rpms, hauls a*# in the upper rpms. Obvious things I see that will need addressing are fork seals(I have new fork seals for buyer), seat has tape over a split, and it needs front turn signals. The bike is pretty clean and was maintained well. No dents and the original paint looks nice with a few minor scratches on top of tank. Inside of tank is clean. All the lights, gauges, etc work. Front and rear brakes work. I've ridden it up the road and it shifts through all the gears and there are no weird noises. It has progressive front fork springs, almost new Metzeler Radial tires, jet kit, K&N pod filters and a yoshimura slip on exhaust/muffler with a rare supertrapp stainless header(plus I have the supertrapp stainless slipon but no baffles). *Please ask any questions before bidding and only bid if you are a serious buyer.
