Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1966 Suzuki B105P Bearcat. This is a rare 1966 Suzuki B105P Bearcat in exceptional condition. It has a single cylinder two stroke 118cc engine, with posi force oil injection system and a four speed manual transmission. Why they called it a 105 when it’s displacement is closer to a 125 – who knows. This bike got first place in the Japanese Classic class at one of Cycle World’s magazine Rolling Concours events. I got the best and most useful trophy I have ever won at any show, or race, with a large specially etched bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon wine – see picture of “empty” bottle and results page of the article. Motor runs great and starts first kick. Crankcase and transmission are in great condition with no oil leaks. Clutch and brakes work great. Please see short video of bike being started and running. http://youtu.be/kRo7pJx5qBU Transmission shifts through all gears, new Cheng Shin tires, new battery and the tank has been ReNued. This is a patented process where they sandblast the inside and outside of the tank, then coat the inside and outside of the tank sealing out rust and corrosion. Before I did that I welded a smaller diameter filler neck so that the gas cap fits really tight because these gas caps do not snap or screw on – they are just like a rubber cork and after time the rubber deteriorates and becomes loose. You can see it in one of the pictures and then I had the tank professionally painted. That is why it is a little brighter red than the rest of the bike. I bought it in 2003 and I am the second owner. I have probably put over 1000 miles on it. This bike has been stored in a garage and covered for it’s 47 years, it looks amazing and gets a ton of attention. All in all, it’s an awesome, unique and rare bike. You are welcome and encouraged to start, ride and see this bike in person before the auction ends – just email me. Perfect for cruising around town and is lots of fun. Must see and ride to appreciate. It also has the original rear chrome luggage rack in excellent condition. The foot pegs show some wear and the horn is not very loud. The bike is being sold as is. The bike comes with a clear California title that has not been signed or dated and is in my name. Some sellers say they have a title but it is already signed and dated and in somebody else’s name. The bike is has been on non operational status since 2010. I have tried to explain everything about this bike, its history, its rarity and worth… in detail – if you have any questions or want other pictures, please Email me. Please do not ask me what the reserve price because I will not tell you and it is not fair to other potential buyers. Please check my Ebay history – it is at 100% satisfaction for a reason and ninety five percent of my Ebay sales are related to motorcycles, motorcycle parts or mini bikes. I have been riding, racing, restoring and collecting motorcycles for over 45 years. I also have several transport contacts and can get this Suzuki transported almost anywhere in the United States for much less than most motorcycle transporters and USHIP. I also have transported motorcycles to Australia and Europe and I have no issues selling to anyone out of the country. I know of several international transporters and will charge only $150 to get the bike to the transporter/logistics and fifty cents a mile both ways – you pay the transporter to get it over the ocean, but I will assist with the logistics and finding a shipper. I will also deliver this bike for fifty cents a mile, both ways, anywhere in Southern California. Please check out my other Ebay motorcycle listings – an exceptional custom painted 1996 Buell Signature Series S2T Thunderbolt (one of only 36 made), a 1973 Honda CT 70 mini trail, an original 1970 Hodaka 100 and a partially restored 1969 Indian MM5A “mini” dirt bike (three 40 year old plus bikes with original tires), as well as a variety of motorcycle and mini bike parts. If you are new to eBay, then you may not be aware that your bid means you are buying what you are bidding on. If you have zero feedback you must contact me to let me know that you are serious about completing the sale or I will cancel your bid. Please, please bid only if you really want the item. I am not desperate to sell, am not a dealer, I don't do this for a living, I am a motorcycle enthusiast. If you'd like any detailed photos of a specific area of the bike, just ask! Please ask any questions you like before bidding. You will be answered quickly and honestly. With all the bikes I own or have owned over the years, I know how disappointing it is when someone over-sells a bikes condition so you may be sure I won't do that to you. I have disclosed and will gladly provide photos of all known defects for your inspection. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time in order to sell this item locally as well. This bike will go to the highest bidder here on Ebay! On May-27-14 at 16:39:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I want to thank my mate down under (see question) for reminding me to identify and post a picture of the original Suzuki tool bag and tools that will come with the bike. I forgot all about it and every tool is an original Suzuki tool that came with the bike and includes, obviously the bag, pliers, screwdriver (common and phillips), a 14/17mm wrench, a 12/10mm wrench, 9mm wrench and a plug and 10mm socket. Also, I did not know that these Bearcat's came with a vinyl or suede seat covers, but this one appears to be suede. Thanks again, Mark!
