Vehicle Detail
For sale this time is a superb 1971 Triumph T25T. A four stroke single oil in frame model made only for a short run in the early seventies. I bought the bike a couple years ago as a basket case and completed a comprehensive rebuild in time for riding season last year. I had a great time riding around town and to bike nights etc. and now it is time to make room for new projects. The bike always draws a lot of attention and is easy and fun to ride. It's interesting in that the lights are designed for quick removal (they unplug from the harness) to go off road racing. Perhaps easier said than done, but still cool... It was disassembled to each nut and bolt. Everything was cleaned, polished, chromed or painted and reassembled by the book. All original hardware, wiring (including factory correct aluminum wire ties), lights (including the inner headlight brace often missing), switch gear, working Smiths speedo, seat etc. While the motor was out it was treated to a fresh top end - valves, springs, guides etc. Bottom end was inspected and good. Carb was rebuilt. New Battery. Brakes are good, tires fair on original rims. I made a departure from the factory paint which was red on the fenders and tank. Since the tank is alloy and in great shape I buffed it and chromed the fenders to match. This is more along the lines of what BSA did with their version The B25 and B50. Many of the small parts were chromed as well. Some of the original parts remaining show minor pitting. Contains fresh oil and filter (check out the cool little filter housing in front of the rear tire down low). Missing mirrors and center stand didn't bother me - looks cool. Clear Ohio title in my name, original factory owners manual and two (three?) correct original union keys included with sale. Lots of time and money spent on this one my loss your gain - NO RESERVE - so bid to win. I've sold more than a few bikes this way and have 100% feedback rating for a decade. Low feedback bidders must email or face deletion. I will be available for inspection just ask...good luck! Nonpaying bidder forces relisting what crap!
