1997 Ford F-150 in a rare combination. This truck is a regular cab, XLT, flare-side, 4x4, with the 4.2L V6 and 5spd manual transmission. You don't see too many with this drivetrain set up and definitely none in this condition. Check out the original window sticker- pretty neat for a truck this old to have one. It gets excellent mpg (over 20 regularly) and is a really nice truck to drive. It only has 117,000 miles and starts right up and runs great. Everything works as it should and it is an XLT so it is loaded up with options. It has ice cold A/C, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, AM/FM/Cassette with 6 disc cd changer, lumbar seats, fog lights, front tow hooks, and much more. The motor runs very well with no funny noises or knocks, trans shifts smoothly in all gears, clutch grabs like it should, brakes stop as they should with no hopping or noises. The tires are high dollar Cooper Discoverers with 75% tread left. 4x4 engages as it should and works great! This truck wasn't abused or off-roaded and most of the miles were highway miles. It was a back-up vehicle so it really didn't get driven a whole lot which explains the low miles for the year. It has never had a trailer hitch, just a small ball on the bumper to pull a little utility trailer occasionally. The body is in far above average condition with only some VERY minor surface rust in a few places-- no visibile rust that you can see without looking hard. There are no dents and very few if any scratches. The bed and tailgate have had a liner on them since new so they aren't beat up either. The seats had a seat cover on them since it was brand new so the seats are in excellent condition. I didn't clean the carpets but they don't have any major stains or spots and I'm sure with a good shampoo, they would look new too. The dash isn't cracked and all the interior accessories work as they should. The headliner sags a little but never really bothered us any.
