Vehicle Detail

I'm selling 2, that is correct, 2 1967 Austin Mini Mokes. These cars were stored inside for many years before I got them. I planned on restoring one and selling the other but plans have changed and both cars are for sale. If you're reading this ad then you're most likely familiar with the rise in value of these little cars. I've only seen a couple of restored Mokes for sale here in the states and they were selling for close to $30k. Smaller cars such as Mokes, the Fiat Jolly, Isetta, and other unusual and quirky cars have become quite valuable. The beauty of these Mokes is that there is no lack of parts suppliers, forums, and general help restoring these cars as mechanically they are the same as a regular vintage Mini. Both of these cars are mechanically complete but I havn't done any work to them-they might run or they might need some work. Either way, they are simple cars to work on with plenty of inexpensive parts available via the numerous English spares suppliers. Let's look at the white car first. This car has been sitting for a number of years and I havn't tried to get it to run. It has a MG valve cover but I havn't delved further to see if it is a MG 1100 motor or just the valve cover. As you probably know, all these motors from the 850 up to the 1275 are all in the same family and essentially the same motor. Like putting a 1275cc MG Midget motor into a Bugeye, this would be a common upgrade back in the day. The body looks very solid. Very little rust. All lights and bumpers, etc are present. No top frame on this one. Missing a couple of hubcaps. I have a complete exhaust for the car that is not installed. Now let's look at the yellow car. Same deal mechanically-it is all there and I havn't tried to get it to run. This car has the top frame and top. The windshield is cracked. It is flat glass and would be easy to get glass cut for the windshield frame. The hood is an aftermarket comoposite or fiberglass hood. The body itself is straight and only has rust on a few corners on the floorpan. The drivetrain is complete. It is missing a couple of lenses for the turn signals. These are easy to get Lucas parts and you can find them for not much $$ here on ebay. This is a great opportunity to get 2 Mokes. You can restore them both at the same time-so much easier. One for yourself and your significant other...or restore for profit. Please email me for any more questions. I have more pictures available also. I have a clear open title on both cars. I'm happy to sell both here in the United States and anywhere else in the world.
