Vehicle Detail

SELL OR TRADE FOR OTHER INTERESTING CLASSIC. LOOKING FOR A CORVETTE C4 OR EL CAMINO. OPEN TO INTERESTING TRADE OFFERS OR TO SIMPLY SELL IT. I received this car as part payment on another classic car I sold. Clear title, starts and runs great. This car has the rare WS6 and Recaro interior package, it is worth restoring to new condition as it will be a very desirable classic soon. Please scroll down to see all the pictures and the remaining description at the bottom. If someone is interesting in making an offer to buy it before the auction ends, I can add a buy it now . Starts and runs great, feels great on the highway, no vibrations or pulls, shifts fine. Paint and interior are nice for a 30 year old car, but I would repaint the car, install all new decals, re-do some of the interior with OEM velour. Car starts great, all gauges work. Does not leak any fluids that I can see, does not smoke running, but every so often will give me a puff of smoke at start up, sign of valve seal that needs refresh. Nothing major, does not do it all the time, just occasionally. AC is still R12, blows strong but needs to be retrofitted to R134A. Heater works, power steering and brakes are fine. Sounds great, spins the tires and burns rubber. All lights work, the headlights work, but the passenger side gets stuck, and the headlight gear will need replacing (simple and inexpensive). Needs a headliner. The only rust I have seen is in the under the passenger door, a sign of water accumulation inside the door due to clogged drainage. The exterior panel is not rusted, just the lower part of the door and can only be seen opening the door and getting on the floor. Worst case scenario, another door costs as little as $50 and can be found easily. However, this cannot be seen from the outside. Cruise control works fine, and most important, the dash is absolutely great, which is VERY RARE, as these always crack. Wheels are the original and optional Ws6 16" with beefy 245-60-16 tires in good condition, I am including an additional set of T-Tops, has the t-top bags and straps. Power windows go up and down, Rear spoiler was deleted, mounting holes are covered by a white vinyl. I like it better without the spoiler. I would qualify this car as a great original with lots of potential and worth restoring and keeping. Please feel free to come and inspect the car. Sold as is, no warranty of any kind. I have seen many of these cars over the last few years, this is one of the best and most desirable.
