I bought this bike in 2010 and have had it at the track only four times. My work now has me traveling constantly and does not look like it will let up once again this year so I am letting this fantastic bike go. As a novice rider I was able to nearly match the track record for the 600cc category after only a few attemps. What follows is from the original pro rider in California who sold me the bike. Yes, I also repainted the bike for this season. The pictures shown have the exact same paint scheme as currently."This is a gorgeous '05 CBR600RR that is fully race prepped (or use it as a track bike). Not street legal and do not have street parts, so please do not ask. California salvage title, I never bothered to register it as had no intention to use is as a street bike. The bike was a complete insurance theft write-off (by InterInsurance Exchange at Gardena, CA) with most of the bike (parts) missing. Bought it in ’07 and since then invested approx. an additional $5,000 (about $8,500 total) in turning it into a track weapon. New '05 engine # PC37E2314543 installed in '07 (currently at only 3,291 miles on it). Excellent condition, this bike was serviced and meticulously prepared for racing by Trackoholics in Vista, CA. Needs absolutely nothing! This bike had only one slow low side with no real damage but a very small abrasion on the case cover (see photo), barely noticeable. Footpeg was broken and replaced. That is it - absolutely perfect condition. This is a very fast bike, with superb dialed suspension and handling - if you are a fast rider you can beat liter bikes at the track.
