The truck has the basic 3 speed auto trans with out the over drive. Never give me a bit of trouble, unlike the later ones. I'v had the truck for 10 years and put aprox.60K on her. Pulling my boat and winter time transportation.I did upgrade the alt. to the 140 amp version and replaced the standard rag joint with the Borgeson steering shaft.
