Vehicle Detail

1975 CB750F The bike has new front and rear Dunlop tires. The rear tire has some small cracks on the sidewall, not sure why because they were just replaced last summer. Has a new gold o-ring sealed chain. New Honda grips and switch assemblies. New Honda speedometer cable. All lights, blinkers, horn, electric start, etc work. Replaced spark plugs with NGK's. I removed the chrome chain guard and muffler. I can put these back on for you if you'd like, not a problem. I liked the way it looked and sounded. Replaced the rear tail light and fender with ones from a K model, though I have the original fender, glove box, hardware, etc... Does not have any oil leaks or drips though there is oil seeping from one of the braided lines going from the oil tank to the engine. Gauges work and are crystal clear. New headlamp. New battery(not an el cheapo) was $75. I will also include the Schumacher Battery Extender trickle charger. Oil and filter changed with Honda brand synthetic oil and filter. When I got the bike it came with a set of emblems that are not correct for this year. I ordered a set from a guy on ebay and those are not correct either. I found a guy in Canada who has the right ones but he's asking $75 for the pair. I have the left side cover on it but the right side is not on. I do have the cover(see picture) but the one holding tab on it is broken. But I like the look of the exposed steel oil tank on the right side anyway, so I've left the cover off. I rode the bike to Sioux City and back(8 hours) without a hiccup. I wouldn't have a problem riding it to California and back, actually I would because I'd be in pain but the bike would be ok. I had the seat re-upholstered in East Moline, Illinois and I think they did an excellent job, it looks great and is comfortable. I replaced and adjusted the front and rear brakes with Honda pads/parts. There are three dings on the top of the gas tank(none on the sides) there is a picture. Is a little cold blooded for the first few minutes but once she's warm you're ready to roar. Runs great, shifts great, sounds great(like a tiger on steroids), is very fast, handles well, brakes work excellent. Have 2 sets of keys. The o-ring sealed chain really helped with the harmonics going down the road at higher speeds. I have the title and it is clear. I have the original repair manual. I also have it insured and registered until May28th so if you need to ride it home that would work, I just ask that my plate and insurance card be mailed back to me. This is a used 40 year old bike. There is no warranty or returns. I am not a dealership, just an old guy who likes to tinker. I bought this bike in the hopes of partially restoring it, making it street ready, and selling it. If I were younger I would keep it, at least for a year or two. It's a great bike. This is for pick-up only. I will help load it into your truck or help a shipping or moving company load it but I can't crate it up or any of that, so if that's what you want you're going to have to arrange it. It would be best if you came with someone to either load it or ride it back, but you'd have their vehicle to put the miscellaneous parts and things in. I also have fuel here and will fill her up before you go. Email me with any questions or concerns. If you have to hear a voice send me your phone# and I will call as soon as I'm able. Thanks and good luck!
