1987 chevrolet silverado SWB, This southern truck is equipped with the powerfull 350 TBI engine, and an automatic overdrive transmission. The engine runs flawless, these fuel injected trucks run great and get excellent gas mileage. It has no major drips or leaks and performs like a new one. The engine compartment is all original down to the fender mounted jack. The transmission shifts nice and smooth as it should, works excellent. The truck has a nice sound to it but not too loud for a quiet ride. This truck is equipped with power steering, power brakes, cold a/c , (new ac delco compressor), and good heat. The body is in nice shape with black paint, nice trim and chrome. It has a very nice curb appeal and gets a lot of attention. The paint is not in brand new condition but has a nice shine with minor imperfections, I would call it nice driver quality. The inside of the bed is dent free but has a few scratches. The doors close up tight with little effort, as well as the tailgate and hood. It has good tinted glass with no scratches or cracks, the windshield is in excellent shape. The charcoal interior is in great shape. The seat is in like new condition, good carpet, very nice dash pad with no cracks (original not the cheap replacement). The door panels are in very good shape as well. The power windows work correctly, the power locks work from the right door but only unlock from the drivers side. The headliner is good with no sagging but has sun fade. This truck is tight with little wind noise. The odometer shows 41,000 miles but realistically I assume that is not the original milage. It rides down the road comfortable and drives great. It rides on the factory 15x8 rally wheels with GoodYear 255/70/15 tires that are in very good shape. Overall this truck is a very nice driver. It has the muscle truck look with the modern day comforts and reliability of fuel injection. It is not a show truck but a nice truck to take to a cruise in.
