Originally based on the Impala, the half car, half truck El Camino survived for only two years, but reappeared with a vengance in 1964 based on the legendary Chevelle. This new El Camino shared most of its underpinnings and powertrains (including high performance engines) with the Chevelle SS of the day. New Pioneer Stereo AM/FM/CD The Exterior Paint we would classify as in good Driver condition....with some nicks and touchups. The gap on the front side of the drivers door is tight and so some of the paint has been marked up. The Chrome is very presentable as is the Stainless, Emblems and Trim....all in Excellent Condition. The Exterior Glass is in good condition and has been tinted due the California sun. The Interior is Custom with very comfortable and plush bucket seats....a very nice improvement over the factory seating. The Door Panels and Headliner are also Custom and tie in beautifully.....the carpet is also in nice shape. The Rubber Boot around the 4 Speed Shifter could be replaced if you want to make a simple yet worthwhile improvement. The Dash has been painted to match the interior. The dash cluster itself shows a little bit of wear but still quite presentable. A Custom "64 El Camino" plaque has been put over the original radio opening.
