Vehicle Detail

*Please read the entire listing before asking any questions or placing a bid.* Up for auction, with NO RESERVE, is a 1985 Chevy IROC Z-28 Camaro showing 88,428 miles on the odometer. This car is a genuine RPO code B4Z IROC, not a clone. This came from the factory with the LB9 Tuned Port Injected 305 V8 engine and 700r4 automatic overdrive transmission. It came factory equipped with power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, cruise control, A/C, T-Tops, and the very rare console clock option of which only 809 of these cars came with. This car is being sold as a roller with no engine or transmission. The TPI harness and computer are still in the car and no wires have been cut, so you can easily go back fuel injected if you chose to do so. The body in in very good condition for the age and has absolutely no rust at all. The interior is also in very good condition and the seats barely even look sat in and have no rips or tears. The passenger side door panel is missing and will need to be replaced. If the buy-it now option is used, or the bidding goes over $2500, I will include the factory LB9 305 long block, 700r4 transmission and a complete spare set of (4) 15" Z-28 wheels. The engine will need to be reassembled as the previous owner removed it from the car to install a bigger engine and never got around to it. It was disassembled for inspection and everything checked out good. Again, I will only include these if the buy-it-now is used, or the bidding goes over $2500, otherwise I will be keeping them for myself. In the pictures, you will also see that I have recently ran a Carfax report on this car. The Carfax report, as well as the vehicle title (in my possession and ready for immediate transfer), will be given to the buyer upon pickup. The report shows that the car had minor front end damage in November 1988 that was repaired, and still maintains a clear title that is eligible for their Carfax Buyback Guarantee. If you take a look at the Autocheck vehicle report provided by eBay, you will see that it states that this car was issued a salvage/reconstructed title in the state of Georgia on May 6, 1996 and eBay will not allow me to post it unless I list it as such. I want any prospective buyer to know, this car has never been in the state of Georgia! The information shown in this report is incorrect and I am currently in the process of disputing to have it removed. This report shows that the car has only had one accident (in November 1988) but then, for some unknown reason, the salvage/reconstructed title was put on (no accident/police report???) I have checked the other major vehicle history service providers, the federal National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS), the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), the local DMV, as well as my insurance company, and all show that this car has a clear title with no record of a salvage/reconstructed title. Before bidding, please feel free to check the VIN with your local DMV and insurance agent and you will see for yourself. If you do a search for "Autocheck incorrect information" you will see that this is a common problem that others have had that I find very disturbing. Please take a look at my eBay feedback, you will see that I have sold many vehicles on eBay and I always try to make the buyer happy and I do all that I can to make that happen. I am not out to scam anybody. If, after all I've mentioned, you still believe this car has a salvage/reconstructed title and do not want to bid I do understand, but I believe that you will be passing up a great deal on a great car over a simple error. This car is a great project car that is ready to be put together. These cars are only going to increase in value in the coming years, so get one now at a great price while you still can. This is almost 30 years old and is therefor sold as-is with no warranty. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them and I will answer as quickly as possible. *No bidders with less than 10+ positive feedback without contacting me first, or I will cancel your bid and block you from the auction. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due by PayPal immediately after auction end with the balance due by cash or cashiers check within 7 days of auction end. I will not release the vehicle or title until all funds have cleared my bank.* Thank you for taking the time to look at my listing, and good luck to you!
