1976 FJ40 Ready for show or safari. Stock 2F inline 4.2 motor. Good compression all around. Starts and runs great.  Steers and stops straight and true.  4 Speed transmission shifts tight and smooth. Interior -- dash, door panels, mats, seat covers all new.  Dash uncut, all gauges work.  Odometer reads 59,XXX miles.  These appear to be original miles based on the condition of original equipment.  Exterior -- brand new PPG paint in original color, lights all work.  Common rust spots on the rear quarter skirts were cut out and replaced with new steel panels.  Floor boards were original and pristine. This is approximately the twelfth FJ I've sold for my younger brother who loves stock FJ's above all other motor vehicles.  He buys 'em, fixes 'em and enjoys each one briefly before looking for another.  After restoration each gets a few hundred miles of use to make sure nothing was missed and everything is tight.  The list of new parts is extensive and includes New paint inside and out New undercoat New Pro Comp shocks New springs w/ 2½" lift  New Ramsey winch w/receiver mount for front, back or sideways operation New roof rack, shovel and handyman jack (canoe optional $1200) Original floor mats, just look at their condition New door cards New seat covers New exhaust New headliner Extra parts in two ammo cans included 5 new proper original size Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac, 31X10.50X15 on stock rims w/new caps   This vehicle is rust free and will continue to appreciate in value.  A recent 1977 example sold at Barrett-Jackson for $101,000! A great graduation present/investment.
