2001 Volkswagen Jetta TDI. 1.9 ALH engine. 152,228 miles. Mechanic special. Clear title. VIN# 3VWSP29M51M043797 Automatic Transmission. Power windows, Moon roof, Alloy Wheels. Overall this is a nice rust free Texas car. I purchased the car 5 years ago with the intent of repairing it. This is one of my many projects I have decided to sell. (I drive a 2000 Jetta TDI daily that will go forever so I don’t need two!) Please look at the photo’s as they are part of the description. Engine: The 1.9 ALH engine was damaged when the timing belt broke. Number one cylinder piston destroyed, and connecting rod bent, along with cylinder head and valve damage. All parts carefully removed, boxed and come with the car (see photos). Also included is a spare engine from a running 2003 Jetta, which has a new aftermarket cylinder head. Its turbocharger was bad, therefore smoked. The donor car had 148,000 miles on it. Body: NO accidents. The body is rust free and overall looks good. It has a few scratches, scrapes, and dings which is to be expected for a car of this age. The headlights are clouded which is normal for these cars. Windows all work and are tinted. All electrical systems work. Spare wheel and lug nut tool in place. There is no jack or lug wrench. Interior: The interior is black cloth. The seats are in good condition without rips or holes. The carpet is good, with three factory floor mats. (Drivers mat missing and a small heel wear hole in the carpet below gas pedal) The dash, glove box, and door panels are in good condition.
