Car runs and drives, The other day I was driving the car home and the transmission started making a whining noise and was have troubles shifting. But the car still drove and went on the highway, I parked the car and am driving my other car to prevent any further damage. After researching online it seems these cars had problems with their Torque Converter Solenoid going bad which causes the torque converter to not engage or get "Stuck" cause the transmission to slip, or think it's in neutral when it's not. I am selling the car with the knowledge that there is something wrong with the transmission. Engine still runs strong, and the car will go into gear and drive. New tires (Replaced all 4 in 11/2013), front and rear brakes replaced, and rotors cut in 12/2013. The power steering is tough at a standstill, not sure why but once the car moves even a little its fine. The car does leak a very small amount of coolant, I am not sure where, but it has been that way for a while, car has never overheated or gotten too low, you just need to add a swig of antifreeze every once in a while. The Carfax does show 1 accident, but it was simply somebody backed into my car in a parking lot going less than 2 mph, no damage was done but they insisted calling the cops for it. All that happened was my license plate holder broke a little.First $500 Takes the car, I need it gone and don't have the time to have it repaired, which could possibly be a simple fix. No offers under $500 accepted. Cash and carry, clean CT title in hand. A Flatbed truck, or trailer will be required for pickup of the car. Head unit (Radio) pictured has been removed from car.
