1993 Subaru Sambar mini truck, otherwise known as "Mini Mog" (mini Unimog). This Subaru mini truck is in good overall condition. Truck has no rust or rot anywhere, all the cab corners, floorboards, frame, body, ect. are all rust free. Have rubber floor mat that comes w sale removed to show floorboards. Dash and interior in good shape. No rips or tears in upholstery, and all the buttons, switches, lights, directional, wipers, heater, blower, ect. all work as they should. Truck has been barn stored as long as i have owned. Truck has a 5 speed manual transmission with a creeper low gear and reverse, 7 total gears with Good clutch. Does not have high/low range, it has high range with a creeper low gear. Truck can be switched from 2x4 to 4x4 with a button on top of the stick shift. Engine is a rear mounted 4cyl Subaru Clover 4. Note that the Subaru Sambar is the only mini truck with a rear mounted engine making a much more balanced quiet ride. No rear tires coming off ground when you hit the brakes on this one. Truck has very nice stable ride. This truck can easily reach speeds of over 80 with road tires. 50mph max with atv tires. Faster than that the atv tires begin to balloon and handling gets sketchy. Use granny low and this truck creeps over the toughest terrane or will drive up the steepest hill and not power out. TRUCK RAN FINE WHEN STORED AWAY 3 YEARS AGO, BUT NOW THE TRUCK STARTS BUT STALLS OUT WHEN YOU LET OFF GAS PETAL. I'm not sure if its old fuel or what. Truck has been sitting indoors and unused for while now, not good for it, but i have no time to mess with it, and now I need the barn space back. Parts for these trucks are easily avaliable online. TRUCK IS SOLD AS IS WITH BILL OF SALE. I HAVE NO TITLE. I don't know where the vin is located on these trucks. It is not in the dash where you normally find. I don't have a title as i bought with Bill of Sale. You cannot register these trucks for the road in this state, but people here drive them all over with little to no law trouble, so i did'nt worry about title when I bought. Great alternative to high priced UTV'S! Don't pay $16,000.00 for a UTV and still have no heat or enclosed cab and can't shift it! Paid $5500.00 2010. Pictures in ad were taken 5/3/14.
