1966 Ford Mustang GT coupe. A true, factory GT in remarkable unrestored/survivor type condition. This is a black plate California car built in San Jose, CA in June 1966, and spent its entire life in San Diego before coming to the Orlando, FL area two years ago. Excellent original condition. Code Z Sauterne Gold (a light green color) with a completely original Code 68A Deluxe (Pony) interior in Ivy Gold/White. "A" code 289 V-8, and all factory installed GT components including trumpet exhausts, fog lights, front disc brakes, stripes, etc. The interior is in untouched, original condition and is a time capsule. This is one of the most highly optioned cars I have seen, and has a Rally-Pac, console, factory air conditioning (works), factory stereo/8-track, C-4 Automatic, power steering, disc brakes, deluxe steering wheel, styled steel wheels, deluxe seatbelts (with the rare warning light), interior decor group, visibility group (remote mirror and two speed wipers), and a factory black vinyl roof in remarkable near perfect condition. Four brand new vintage style US Royal dual red band tires from Coker Tire. The car also originally came with dual red band tires, as the spare dual red band remains untouched in the trunk on original (5th) styled steel wheel. I have the original bill of sale ( a very hefty $3,713.24), original owners manual, original 1966 California registration (and many others), the California black plates (issued to the car in '66), and pile of receipts from 1966-the 90's. Exterior paint is very good, and about 50% original. There are some paint imperfections, rubs, etc commensurate with age, but shows well. Absolutely no rust ever. Rock solid original floors and trunk. Body panels appear original, and car has original and untouched motor and tranny. Runs and drives well. No leaks. A rare opportunity for the purist. There are many cars restored to GT specs, but this car is a factory GT that will impress any expert. Serious only, please. Clear title in hand. Would consider Porsche Boxster or Pontiac Solstice with clean Carfax, clear title, and manual transmission, in partial trade.
