For sale is a 1951 Ford Crestliner 2 door. Body was removed from frame, frame then blasted and painted. When reassembled new steering and suspension were installed, stock front 9" in rear with old school drop. It has been dropped 2" all the way around 302 C4 automatic installed, zero miles on engine overhaul trans was in good working order when installed. Body was stripped and giving the attention it required. which was very little. Then epoxy primed and underside painted before mating back together with frame. Jams and firewall underside of trunk and dash have all been painted. Windsheild has been reinstalled and back glass is ready to be reinstalled. Doors are put back together but could probably use seals and fuzzies. Rear windows and regulaters are ready to be put in, just haven't had a chance. The garnish mouldings have been painted for the interior, and are ready for installation. Rear bumper is a new rechrome front is in great shape but probably needs rechrome. Grille work is great, very straight and solid. Outers are rechromed, center might polish but probably should rechrome. It is not in running form yet! Engine can be fired, trans linkage has not been hooked up and driveshaft is fingertight. Trans lines are not run to radiator. Brakes are updated to a 7" vacuum assist GM design master cyl and proportioning valves. They need to be bled. I have everything to finish this car except the time and money. I almost forgot to mention, the seats are useable should be recovered but straight and solid. Carpet is junk I think I threw that away along with headliner. I do have two sets of bows that will go with the car. I also have a lot of extra parts, they will be included unless bidding doesn't get high enough. This car should be between $15000 and $25000 once completed. I have had a lot of phone calls on it. So to help answer the bulk of them my reserve is $6000. I have had a local body shop quote me at $5-6000 to finish paint and body. I also have a interior quote of $3000. If you add $1000 for incidentals you can complete it and have a very nice car for around $16000. Hard to find a car of this caliber for $16000. If you finish it yourself it would be a fraction of the cost!
