Up for auction is this very clean 2003 Crown Victoria CNG! It has low Original Miles of 51,xxx. Mileage may be slightly higher upon pickup as vehicle is still in service. Spent the majority of its life in North Texas so rust is not an issue. Was City maintained by a very large fleet department. Spent its whole life prior to my ownership as a public works vehicle. NO POLICE USE EVER! No antenna holes on the roof or trunk. Did have a spotlight that has been removed. Features Ice Cold A/C and fully functioning heat P-71 Police Interceptor package. This is the only one I have ever seen that is a police interceptor and CNG. Power Windows Power Door Locks Lumbar Driver seat LOW LOW MILES 51K CNG System 3600 PSI System - This is what most stations are now. You can fill up a 3600 PSI system at a 3000 PSI station also. I am not sure of the GGE on the system. As close as I can guess is that it is about 15-16 gallons. I make this guess by the fuel gauge. I filled up last week and the tank still had little below 3/4 of a tank. It took 5 GGE. In no way am I guaranteeing how much CNG this holds its just a guess. Other fill ups have been similar. Dallas is 180-200 miles from my home and I can drive there and still have 1/4 of a tank when I get there. Again I am guessing here but that would put range around 220 miles to be safe. CNG Tanks were inspected in 2013 and are good until the year 2022! Tanks are type 2. Fuel Mileage Took a trip to Dallas a few weeks back and got almost 25 MPG. 201 miles and used 8 GGE. On the return trip I went 208 miles and used 8.5 GGE. CNG vs Gasoline Comparison I have had many crown vics and I find the mileage on CNG and gasoline to be similar. Using that logic with the Dallas trip I have done the comparison below. Shreveport to Dallas 201 miles 8 gallons used paid 1.70 GGE in Shreveport CNG Fuel Cost = 8 X 1.70 = $13.60 Presumed Gasoline Cost = 8 X 3.69 (national average) = $29.52 Savings CNG over Gasoline = $15.92 Dallas to Shreveport 208 miles 8.5 gallons used paid 2.05 GGE in Dallas CNG Fuel Cost 8.5 X 2.05 = $17.43 Presumed Gasoline Cost = 8.5 X 3.69 = $31.37 Savings CNG over Gasoline = $13.94 Total Savings on Dallas trip = $29.86 Almost half of the price of a gasoline powered vehicle. Synopsis Everything on the car works as it should. Runs and Drives great. There are a couple of scratches from sticker removal and a couple of paint chips on the passenger side c-pillar.
