You are viewing a 1956 Pontiac 2 door convertible. this car still retains all of it's original drive train including engine, transmission, and rear end. These Pontiac convertibles are like the 55-57 Belairs but are more rare. You will notice by the license plates that it has been parked since the 70's. Since then someone walked off with the convertible bows, and the stainless on the pinch well and windshield stainless but other then that it is complete. There are a set of bows there but is missing the front header bow and they will need rust restoration. I know a guy that might have most of the missing stainless for a reasonable price. I will line the buyer up with him but this is not included in the price of the car. The doors were taken off but are with the car and are definitely repairable as are most of the body panels other then the trunk pan and floor pans as they will need replacement. These cars can be used to convert a hard top car into a convertible but since this car is pretty complete that it deserves to be rebuilt. The engine still turns over and is not stuck and the frame is decent and useable. The interior is there but is missing the back seat but the hard to find front seat is still in car. Remember this car is 58 years old and requires a complete restoration. I am putting a extremely low buy it now so it will leave a person a lot of room to restore it to it's original luster.
