This 1967 Austin Healey 3000 BJ8 is not simply a frame-off restoration; it is a new Jule Enterprises of Ontario, Canada frame reconstruction with all aluminum fenders, trunk lid and Jule rack and pinion steering. "All material is 1/8″ wall (heavier than original) and comes complete with: outriggers, motor mounts, trans. mount, emergency brake mount, cable mount, shroud mount, rear shock mounts, front spring towers, rear spring mounts lower control arm mount, and rear bumper brackets." The suspension has been upgraded to Putzke’s Fahrpass Bilstein shocks on all four wheels. All body fittings and doors were aligned by Jule Enterprises prior to finished paint prep and painting. Other upgrades include a Cape International heater and heater fan replacement, new alternator and starter, spin-on oil filter conversion, and rear engine plate modified for up-graded seal. The engine was completely rebuilt by Duffin Engine of San Antonio, TX. Transmission, painting and assembly completed by New Braunfels Classic Cars. It is now a zero mileage vehicle that is essentially a ‘new’ vehicle with some upgraded technology. Due to health, time, and financial constraints this AH3000 is being listed at the moment as not finished. It remains at the shop being sold 'as is' with nearly all work completed. The buyer will also recive a large quantity of new and used parts if desired from previous AH3000 restorations. The title is clear and nothing is owed at the shop.
