Vehicle Detail

1963 Studebaker Wagonaire A true unique find !!! I have an antiquity company in the middle of Texas. We specialize in fine antiques and collectibles. Once in a while my customers turn in a classic automobile or motorcycle. This is one of those items: This beautiful gem belonged to an older gentleman who was in his upper 80’s. He had the car for a long time as a part of his collection, which he never drove. It has an older restoration. The gentleman told us that he rebuilt the engine several years ago but he barely drove it. All the brakes and master cylinder worked and were replaced two years ago (over $1500 in receipts). Last month the mechanic installed a new clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing. The carburetor was also rebuilt (another $1600 in with Receipts). . The owner has done some amateur floor work before he put the carpet in. The car does need a new dash board. The Studebaker called this wagon “three cars in one” and stated “the utilities of the new body, with exclusive sliding roof the Lark Wagonaire gives you three-in-one versatility - a stylish family sedan, a functional utility wagon, and a fun-filled convertible option.” Please refer to the pictures and look at the glove box (they were very advance for the time). The car comes with a V-8 engine and a standard transmission, and runs good. The back sliding roof makes the car absolutely unique and exquisite. There is a little rust on the back tail gait per pictures You can drive the car as is or restore it to its original glory. The car comes with a clear Texas title. And also the original postcard advertisement from 1963 calling it the most versatile wagon on wheels from the advance thinking of Studebaker. All the inspections must be done before the auction closes. Remember that this classic car is 51 years old. Please remember that things always look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person. Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you are the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item. We require a $300 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. The car will be sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee. We reserve the right to cancel any bid for excessive negative feedback. And I may also advertise it locally. You were right, it has overdrive. I located the knob next to the hood knob. I am also forwarding a picture of it to you. It is embarasing that I don't know that much about these kinds of treasures, but I'm learning as this is the first time I have seen one. Ifthecable Gosdown to the transmission it should be hooked up - marc2110On Apr-23-14 at 10:13:21 PDT, seller added the following information: Q: You need to check your paperwork (Title), somehow you posted the Body Tag NOT the Serial Number as a VIN AND it's the WRONG CAR! 63V-K6 is the code for a '63 GT Hawk 8, NOT a '63 Lark 8 Wagonaire! Rich. Apr-20-14 A: You are 100% right. I keyed in the wrong number. The VIN on the body and on the title is: 63VP41628. I'm also sending you a copy of the title. It was my mistake. Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention. Respectfully, Snefaro2
