Vehicle Detail
I am selling one of the nicest, original 1985 Honda ATC350x's you have ever seen. This bike is super clean, and the plastics are near flawless. It is very, very low hour machine. This is completely 100% OEM stock bike. Normally most 350x have wear / rub marks and dents in the gas tank, but not this bike. It is totally stock. Everything is really, really nice. This bike is suitable for a collector (or a rider), but I honestly would hate to see it ridden outside of just cruising around, as the tires and plastic are just too nice to be used. For its age and use, this is a very clean and fully complete machine. Specifics and details:Bike was bought from original owner and was only ridden in the Mojove Desert (the high desert). He was 77 years old when I bought the bike from him. He said he rode it only a few times a year and at slow speeds mostly. The condition of the bike backs up that statement. The OEM plastic is very, very nice. There are some small normal scuff marks on the fenders, but it still shines and has a pop to it and is better than most ATC's. The front fender looks almost brand new. Not one scratch on it! The tires are in great shape and are the original Pro Vector tires. Knobs are still square and look great. Front Pro Vector does have a plug in it and has a slow leak (3 week leak, meaning 3 weeks and its flat, probably around the plug). Front tire is at about 85% wearRear Pro Vector tires are about 85% wear as wellNo annoying shiny / polish stuff used on the tires. In other words, they are not overshined to look better in pictures. Includes the original condition OEM tool kit.Clear California title in hand. The rear frame and sub frame is clean enough to eat off, very few to no scratches on it Frame has very little to no boot wear marks. There are some light scuffs and minor chips down towards the bottom of the cases on the shifter side, but its not really noticeable. Front header pipes / motor and exhaust all look like new. Small scuff (about 1" long) on the heat shied, but its only noticeable when looking down from the top. The fuel line has been replaced. It is not OEM. Not really a big deal though.Includes twist throttle (mounted) and the OEM stock thumb throttleIncludes new NOS OEM Grips as well, if you want them. The bottom of the bike (skid plates) look good and have not had hard hits. Starts, idles and runs very well. Motor is all stock, jetting is stock and neither have ever been opened - from what I can tell by the screws and bolts. No shiny oily stuff used on the plastic. I hate that junk and do not use it. This bike is not an over-shined junker polished up to look good for pics. This bike is very nice, and very clean. I would rate it at a 9.6 out of 10. It is in rare un-restored condition. The red portion of the Kill switch looks like new. Most of these fade over time. Not this one! Seat is still soft and plush. Overall this is a super nice unrestored unmolested bike with a few very tiny knicks, but nothing major. This bike is close to or at museum quality, but it has been lightly ridden.I do reserve to end the listing early if an offer that is strong presents itself, or a local buyer comes forward. This is, for sure, one of the nicest 85 ATC 350x I have had in my collection. Sold strictly as is, so please look closely at photos and feel free to ask any questions. Check my other listings for some cool bikes as well, as I have several 1986 and 1987 Tecate as well as a few 250r's that I want to sell off. If you live in Southern California I can transport this down to you for $125 gas fee. If you are an international buyer, please see below for more details, but I can work with you. The boring stuff (but please read):Shipping: I suggest you use Daily Direct for transport. Their phone number is 888-haulbikes, and they are INSURED professionals with a strong track record of moving expensive and nice motorcycles. I also have some other shipping options as well, and some that are much cheaper than you might think, so hit me up with any questions. But Daily Direct is very good, and offers door to door roll on and roll off service with INSURANCE. I can and will ship international, but the buyer must coordinate this, as the process can be cumbersome. I will assist as best as possible and do have really good access to shippers to the UK, Europe, Australia and the middle east. But please note that all paperwork will be handled by the buyer. I dont do paperwork very well. Seller Notes: If you are a serious buyer, it is available to be shown, but I am not looking for tire kickers or time wasters. The bike is located in Northern California. Payment: A $500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of closing, or a friendly phone call or clear email on who you are and how you intend to close the deal. I am very easy to work with, but a little clear communication goes a long way with me. Paypal is fine for deposit, but the fee and commission they take is very high and thus I would ask that if you want to go this method, that you cover the fee. Cash is preferred, but we will take payment however is easiest for you for to send, as we understand that some buyers might be out of the country. Cash, wire transfer, bank check, Paypal, WU, Carrier Pidgin - whatever - but as long as it clears our bank and you are not playing the Nigerian lottery with me, I could care less how it comes. If you are a serious buyer and have the money in hand, I am happy to talk to you on the phone about whatever questions or interest you have in the bikes. But please, no time wasters or tire kickers. The bikes are for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing at any time if a local buyer comes forward. In case you are wondering anything about me as a seller, I have been on eBay since 1998 (thats 15 years) and have not one negative feedback. I am just a nut for older dirt bikes and ATV's from the 1980's. I have a nice collection of bikes that I have built up over 15 years of collecting. I have several others that I am selling, including several 85 - 86 250r's and 350x's, as well as a few quads. See my other listings for some more of my stuff, but I doubt I will get around to listing all of them. I also have a matching 1985 350x that is in similiar to slightly better shape which I will try to list in the next few days.
