Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE, BID TO WIN! 1969 Ford Econoline Club Wagon Chateau(E-230). I bought it two years ago from a guy on ebay that lived about 120 miles from my home. I went to get it and drove it home without a problem. The temp. gauge showed it was running a little hot, but I checked the water and engine several times on my way home and it was never actually running hot. Just a faulty gauge , I guess. I have driven it just enough to keep it up. I bought it to restore, but I just can't find the time so I'm letting it go. I has a solid body with minor surface rust. Drives and stops fine. It might need new shocks in front. It feels kinda springy when you hit a bump. It has an AC, everything is there just doesn't cool. There is damage to the AC condenser on front of the radiator but it does appear to have caused it to leak, hard to tell. It looks like the guy who had the van before me nudged something. The grill has damage in the same area. Or it might just need feon, I'm not sure. Radio does not work.Automatic transmission linkage is so that the PRND doesn't line-up with actually gear you are in. Has new Starter, Battery, and Solenoid so it starts up great every time. I know nothing of the history of engine. It runs strong and doesn't smoke or leak. Odometer has 95266+ miles, don't know if that is accurate.I have clear title. I bought some nice wheels to put on it but could never decide if i wanted to take the original wheels and hubcaps off. They will go with the van. PLEASE, IT YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK. I am located in Jackson, Tn., 80 miles east of Memphis and 120 miles west of Nashville on I 40. Keep in mind this vehicle is 45 years old. I am decribing it to the best of my knowledge and there is no warrantee. I don’t know if it was originally a 12 passenger. I do not have any other seats, only the ones pictured. There is no power steering. I have a roof rack that I bought for it and never put it on. It's still in the box and I'm throwing it in. Also, I bought new chrome lugs nuts to put the other wheels on.
