Did you ever feel like you have too many projects? Me either, I love projects, but I can no longer resist my urge to go Commando, so I am selling my 1980 CJ5 and I am going to buy a Jeep Commando. The mileage listed is what is on the odometer, when we rebuilt the gauge we left it, it is thought to be the actual mileage of the vehicle. Amazing torque Rush Power Systems Gear reduction starter 200 amp Rush Power Systems alternator driven at 15 volts, with external regulator Weber DG38 carb, tuned, professional set up, it has been to 9000+ Ft with no issues. There is a reason they call a Weber a poor man’s fuel injection. Custom machined adaptor plate Offenhauser 4 bbl intake, easy drop in fuel injection if you wish. Headers HEI distributor New fuel pump, one spare in Jeep New 12000 pound winch High lift jack Trailer hitch, wired to tow and be towed. Tube bumpers front and rear. Rebuilt brass radiator, with flex fan, shroud, and electric fan Alarm system, with keyed battery switch. New brake lines, master cylinder, booster, shoes, and pads. The front has a 4 pin towing connector and the rear is wired but does not have a plug installed. I have not towed it or towed with it. It is sold “AS-IS” just like everything else today. It is built for fun, the body has/had rust and rust repairs, it is not for show, and it is for fun. The tail lights are truck lights but they are not LED’s It may need a larger CB antenna, I have never really used it, only a couple times to see if it was working. but I think it is too low or small for good range. I will supply all info on the security system and features via email to the winning bidder. It has a standard belt driven flex fan and a pusher electric fan that is manually controlled. It has a keyed battery switch to shut down everything but the winch. Remote for the winch is included. It has RF sensor for the alarm with a bypass switch and it has an ignition kill switch.
