You are bidding on a very well cared for and nice 2005 Dodge Sprinter 2500 with a complete ADA handicapped wheelchair conversion package. The van has been owned by a government agency it's entire life and been extremely well serviced. It has only 123,547 miles on it. Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below the pictures to see the entire report for free). This is the 158 inch wheelbase version on the sprint with the hightop. It is powered by the dependable and great fuel-mileage 2.7 liter turbo diesel engine. The van has NO paintwork, NO body damage and NO rust on it. PLEASE LOOK AT THE 99 PICTURES I HAVE POSTED BELOW OF THIS VAN. The body is very straight with only a few very minor "door dings" to even be found on it. The body has a few minor rock chips and scratches on it, but nothing that stands out. The tires have about 40% tread left on them and are wearing smoothly and evenly. The interior on the van shows virtually no wear at all! There are no holes, tears or rips in the seats. The van comes with 4 folding 2-person seats, 2 1-person jump seats and the 2 front seats. The seats are made by Freedman and are the best on the market. The van can hold 11 seated people and the driver or 3 wheelchairs and 3 seated passengers and the driver or several combinations between that. It also can be used to carry a stretcher loaded thru the back doors (using the wheelchair anchoring points and straps to secure it). The van will come with 1 set of wheelchair anchoring straps. The wheelchair entrance has spring loaded doors, so that you don't have to fight them in the wind. The side passenger's entrance door is powered. You open and close it with a push of a button from the driver's seat. The van has a nice non-slip commercial flooring that is easy to keep clean. The lift is a Braun Vista Series commercial lift. It is rated to 800 lbs. The lift platform measures 33 1/2 inches wide and 51 inches long. The side entrance is 68 1/2 inches tall and inside the van is 72 inches tall. The lift is equipped with automatic lights for night time use. The lift was new when installed in the van in 07/2005.
I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed. This van needed virtually nothing at all. It has been that well serviced it's entire life. It did have the typical Sprinter problem of issues with the heater control panel. We sent it out and had it completely rebuilt. EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD NOW. This van does have the auxillary heater option on it, so that you can continue to heat the interior even after you turn the engine off. The van has NO leaks, NO drips and does NOT smoke. The transmission shifts out smoothly and solidly. It has NO wobbles or shakes at 70 mph on the freeway. All the electronic equipment works like new. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heater warm and toasty. There are just no known problems with this vehicle. I take pictures of all my vehicles as they are when they come to me. I don't detail them and shine them up to hide stuff in the pictures. The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST.
