Here we have a late 1967/ early 1968 Honda CL77 in pristine condition. If you're looking at this posting you know what this is and it's value to collectors. No expense was spared in the restoration of this jewel. The frame and associated components were professionally sand-blasted and powder coated the correct Honda red. The engine has a complete new top end with a complete valve job and new rings. The air filters are brand new and feature new air tubes.The absolutely spotless exhaust and guards were re-plated and look amazing (not to mention the signature CL77 ripping canvas exhaust note at full chat). All the original tank fenders, and side covers were dent-free and have new urethane two-stage paint applied. The tank emblems and rubbers are perfect. The wheels were re-plated and outfitted with new chrome spokes and assembled by Buchanan's. The front fender stays (extremely rare), passenger grip rail and other pieces were re-chromed. The engine cases were painted in two stage silver urethane.The carburetors were re-built and the tuning was performed by Montgomery Motorcycle Company in San Clemente. It starts on the first kick and runs perfectly.The bike requires little to be show-quality - the tires have great tread but the sidewalls are age-cracked. The speed needle tip is broken off and needs a new cable. I really can't think of anything else.I built this bike as a keeper and to re-live my teenage years. Unfortunately, health requires me to significantly thin my herd of collectable bikes. This is your chance for the oh-so-desirable red-framed CL77. The bike has a crisp, clean, spotless title in hand.
