After purchasing the trucks, and uncovering them from the cover they had been under for past 40 years, it became obvious that these trucks were almost completely original from the factory. This is an "unrestored-true survivor"! The truck is practically new off the showroom floor in great condition. It is in perfect driving condition, runs great, and is ready to drive. The only thing that is not original for parts on this Chevy is the fuel pump, plugs, wires, heater core and belts. Even the tires are original from1972 that came with this truck when purchased new by the owner (although I would not advise traveling far on them). All original removed parts that have been replaced will go along with the truck also. The Highlander truck is a RARE unique Chevrolet promotional pickup offered for a limited time in 1972. It is the seat inserts that stand out in the Highlander, they feature a special Scottish plaid nylon cloth insert material. This truck has green and white plaid, one of the four colors offered in this special promotional truck. The Highlander also offered customers special pre installed option packages including. This truck came with option package B. I can not even begin to explain my amazement with this classic truck in near perfect condition that has only traveled 500 miles in its lifetime with one owner. This truck will be sold with all original parts and all paperwork found with the truck, this owner kept everything down to a copy of the check from the sale date in 1972 which allowed us to verify this information (some of this paperwork has been damaged by water).
