My car has new paint, new wheels & tires, new suspension, used low mileage motor, used low mileage transmission with a bunch of new parts. This Civic has a lot of money invested, look at this list of parts. If you think you can build one for cheaper like this go for it. Registration valid till May 2014 fees are coming up but I have the smog taken care for you so all you need to do is pay transfer fees and registration fees which are 80.00 No Power steering, A/C, 170K mi on the chassis which is pretty good for the year. Stock cluster no longer on the car has integra type r cluster with kilometers not miles. This Civic fills up with 35 on empty & gets 28-30 mpg city 35-40 mpg highway. With gas on the rise this car will save you tons of money on gas! Please read the full details below, broken up in sections for easier reading. Reason for selling I really hate to see this car go but there comes a time when you have to part ways and get a new toy, I have put a lot of time and money into this car and I would like if someone that loves Honda's to take good care of my baby. A few months ago my wife and I had our first child, to be honest with you this car is a bit small for us plus its a 2 door and its a pain in the butt getting the baby seat in and out all the time. So I decided to buy a small SUV as our family car which I already have, that is the reason I am getting rid of my Honda. I would hold on to the Honda for a bit but honestly im out of the Honda game for good now, I've owned Hondas since high school and I know them like the back of my hand. They are easy cars to work on and parts are cheap, this civic is my favorite body style out of all the Civic gen's so who ever buys this I am sure you will love this car. This civic just sits in the garage since i don't use it anymore so its time to find it a new home Work that has been done to car is as followed Body Work & Paint This civic has been fully restored and is flawless. It was painted with PPG white toner which is pure white no yellow or tint in the paint, clear coat used was SPI universal clear which is show quality clear coat look it up online has excellent reviews by car enthusiasts. Hood, both fenders left & right, front bumper were replaced. Hood & fenders were replaced because they had dents on them & my brother did not want bondo on the car plus it was cheaper for him to replace rather to pay the body shop a few hours in labor to fix them, parts are CAPA certified parts which fit just like oem. Bumper was replaced because it had a crack on the lower part of the bumper which could not be fixed. All the moldings & door handles were taken off and sprayed with trim black paint, everything was removed except the moldings on the front glass, rear glass & of course the rear quarter glasses. Civic was wet sanded & buffed to give it the perfect shine! paint looks amazing! No dents or scratches anywhere on the car! Interior The Interior of the car is light grey, nice & clean non smoking car! no rips on the carpet, carpet looks very clean with very small imperfections. Front driver seat has a small tear on the bolster from wear & tear not very noticeable look at the video for a detailed view of it. Rest of the seats are clean no rips or tears, all the seats have the same pattern as well. Integra type R cluster fully working! It was a pain in the butt to get this done right but very well worth it! There is a nice write up we used to get this cluster to fit on this civic, you can find lots of write ups but we used one we found on Honda Tech. Took us about 8 hours to do but it looks like the car came with it. Integra type R clusters light orange at night, this cluster has been modified to light up RED. Climate controls light up RED, Radio lights up Red as well but the radio can be set to any color you want. No hotspots! Nice clean even light distribution, in my opinion it looks bad ass & looks like your in a complete different car. Couldnt get clear pics at night but the gauges light up red, look at image posted. Engine New engine D15 non VTEC, runs very smooth. No knocking or smoking from the engine. Engine was bought from Moshi Moshi in Gardena California. Does not leak fluids of any kind! Got a good deal on a EX/SI Transmission so that went in as well. Look at the picture on this listing of the transmission code & if you know what your looking at you will see it is an EX/SI transmission, tranny shifts perfect in all gears does not grind or pop out! New Exedy clutch kit was installed when the transmission was replaced as well. Tranmission code/stamp is P20-B000 = Si, EX trans which is what is now installed on the car. P20-A000 = DX, CX, VX trans which was the old trans. Look it up online if you do not know about these transmission codes. Power steering pump was removed as well as the lines. Steering rack is fine just the pump & the lines were leaking so my i decided to remove them since most people with civic like the manual steering setup instead of the power steering set up. Feels alot better with out power steering and the steering wheel is easy to turn at a dead stop since this car is light. A/C componets all there, A/C works just needs a recharge. A/C blows cold but does not blow to its full potential since it needs a recharge but it does work. Small tune up was also done, 4 new NGK spark plugs, New NGK spark plug wires, New fuel filter. Suspension Car has 4 new struts LOTEK with no name coil overs. Car runs nice, stiff but yet good in my opinion. LOTEK struts are copies of the skunk struts but at the fraction of the cost, these struts are 3 in shorter then the stock struts so these will not blow out. Read some reviews online & i decided to give them a try, so far i'm happy with them. Front camber control arms & Rear camber links were installed as well to tuck in the wheel & tire setup. Does not rub at full turn, new fender liners were installed as well. Fender liners were heated & reformed in certain areas so it would not rub at full turn. Full alignment was done in all 4 corners to keep the tires from wearing, new outer tie rods installed at the time of alignment. Tires do not have any camber wear! If you hear other complaining about tire wear your setup is not done correctly because this car does not have any tire wear! Exhaust Exhaust is all stock besides the aftermarket no name header. Exhaust piping was replaced a few years back with new piping. Rear axel back has a slight rust spot, it did rust thru at the muffler inlet. I temporarily fixed the slight hole with an exhaust repair kit, high temperature exhaust tape, small piece of flexible aluminum and 1 clamp. Does not leak any air out and is not loud. Catalytic converter needs to be replaced in the future, went over a big speed bump and may have broken the cat in half so you will hear rattle or something loose at low speeds sometimes not all the time. once you get the car under a normal load it goes away, its not bad but want you to be aware of any noises. A nice exhaust would finish off this car and let the motor breath just a bit better, no horsepower to be gained just a bit better lower acceleration & nice exhaust tone List of goodies installed on the car All these parts were new at the time when they were installed, everything is about 5 to 6 months old. Cheap china switch does not work anymore!4. A/C works needs a bit of Freon to work at its full potential.
